Rev B – Launch Scope

The Rev B initial product release scope includes:

  1. BMIS credentials hardcoded to the tool to avoid requiring entry on the tool
  2. 10 day software update lockout period. This means the tool will require the software to be updated 10 days after recognizing an update exists if the update isn’t automatically downloaded or manually applied by a user. Updating the tool will allow it to be fully functional again.
  3. 10 day connectivity lockout period. This means that if the tool is not connected to WiFi and sending test data for 10 days, the tool will lock you out and force you to reconnect to WiFi before fully functioning again.
  4. Location ID/Dealer Number entry
  5. Warranty Code for replace decisions only
  6. Honda/Acura Brand selection
